Max Franklin started the company in 1900. He immigrated to Dowagiac, Michigan from Europe at that time.

Through four generations of growth, Franklin & Son has dedicated itself to serving customers needs. Hard work, service and integrity have made the Franklin name stand apart from its competition during that time and will continue to do so for years to come.
